Sorry this is late - my phone got destroyed  so I'm finally getting a phone again! 

This week has been amazing with LOTS of rain! It ain't no California rain either. When it rains it's like you're in a full-on shower. Also apparently this is the lightning capital of the WORLD! Which checks out cause I've seen lightning pretty much every single day  

This week I ate meat... for those of you who don't know, I haven't eaten meat in probably six years. It was so scary! I said SO many prayers and because God is SO real, He helped me eat this SUPER dry burger. 

I was thinking about it after and am stunned that I didn't puke--seriously still in shock. But shoutout to that family for feeding us. That was super kind of them! 

We met with an AMAZING woman named Angelica! And her faith is so strong. She has been through many trials in her life but she is always so excited to meet with us. She shared with us that she has a tendency to run, but that God told her He wants her to stay put and keep meeting with us! I felt the power of God telling me that this is His daughter and that He is aware of her and loves her. And I know that He feels that way about each and everyone of YOU! No matter where you are or what you are doing, you are never out of reach of God's love  

Spiritual Thought : 

Mosiah 14 : 5 

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

This scripture is talking about the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for each of us. That he willingly suffered all of this pain for us. It is the greatest act of love. Because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us we are able to be healed and to improve ourselves. I know that if you turn to Jesus Christ with whatever state you are in, you will be healed through his love and mercy.
