9.16.2024: Energy πŸ€ŒπŸ’Ž

Gem Store
Hello everyone

I hope everyone is doing amazing!!

This week was great! Honestly, so much always happens in the week, by the time I'm writing my email I don't even know where to begin!

For starters I saw the ocean finally! We went down to the farthest part of our area to a state park to visit a family who is facing many trials. They are currently living in their car, but at least they are by the ocean! We were able to share a message with them about how God is aware of them and will help them through their trials. It's hard being 19 year old girls to know how to help, but that's the beautiful thing! It's not us! It is God that will help them and will help all of us!

Also, mini miracle πŸ’« as we were talking to them, one of the kids screamed because they saw DOLPHINS! So we got to see some dolphins for a quick sec which was so cool!

My companions wanted to go to this gem store called We Rock Rocks cause they've heard all about it from other missionaries. Haha! We walked in and I thought I was suddenly back in Santa Cruz. All these crystals, healing rocks, herbs, you know the vibes. The best part is that this younger couple came in and the guy tells the worker that he needs some jewelry with rocks that will protect his girlfriend's "energy". He then proceeds to buy himself some bracelets that will help him protect his old self as he grows into his "new self"... sorry if any of you believe in this! Please culture me! But this seems like a waste of money- haha! I'm like, take yourself to the beach and eat some good food and you'll be healed instantly πŸ˜

*My sweet, three year old nephew Keoni who lives in Costa Rica got bit on the hand by a pit viper snake (extremely venomous!) last week. He was rushed to the hospital, given anti venom, and then life flighted to the children's hospital in the capital. He is stable and the swelling in his hand is going down, but the skin has died and he might need a skin graft. Please keep him and my sister's family in your prayers! I know God is with them and giving his little body strength--but the more prayers the better. πŸ’—

Spiritual Thought :

2 Nephi 4 : 20/21

20 My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.
21 He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh.

Everyday I meet people who are struggling with every kind of trial you can imagine. Yet, the way to overcome those trials is always the same. Jesus Christ is the only way we can make it through. His infinite love and constant support will help us endure all. I promise you that when you lean on Christ, He will carry you. πŸ’•

I love you all! And I'd love to hear from you!!
