 Hello  

Wow this week has been amazing! 

ERNEST GOT BAPTIZED!!! It was so special! He has changed SO much since the first time I met him - he used to barely talk and now we can't get him to stop! He is absolutely glowing! It's incredible to get to see the beautiful transformation of people as they turn towards Jesus Christ! 

On Sunday, we stopped by this woman's house who is really going through it! She shared with us her current battles and how she is so scared. As we talked with her the spirit (power of God) reminded me that it's not about jumping and seeing if Christ will catch us, He has already caught us! He has already suffered for all of our pains, afflictions, grief and misery. He knows exactly how we feel and has the power to relieve us of the hurt we carry. He truly will carry us through. 

People here are crazy - and I LOVE it! Saw a guy riding a Vespa with a huge knife tucked into his belt, this guy on an electric wheelchair came zooming across the crosswalk in full traffic and then flipped us off, yet another bearded woman... so many good gems. 

Spiritual Thought : 

Alma 10 : 6 

" Nevertheless, I did harden my heart, for I was called many times and I would not hear; therefore I knew concerning these things, yet I would not know; therefore I went on rebelling against God, in the wickedness of my heart." 

I love this verse and the reminder that it is up to US to choose to hear God's voice and to follow Him! There is no excuse for not being about God's work for us! He loves us and desperately wants to help us. I invite each of you to pray to ask God how you can hear Him better and I promise that as you do, He will help you.
