| Moonrise on my 20th Birthday! |
Hiii!!
Sorry I don't have a ton of time today. But I wanted to share some quick thoughts with you all!
First of all... I got to see my family friend Renee Allen on Friday!!! She is the most amazing EVER! She drove 4 hours just to see me! She spoiled me with so many treats and so much love!! I'm so grateful I get to have a little slice of family here in Florida!
We had a lesson with our friend Angel last week and we were talking about how prayer helps us grow our relationship with God --all of a sudden he exclaims " ohh it's like wifi!" Haha! At first I didn't get what he was saying cause he has an accent and then I understood and started laughing! But he's not wrong! The more we pray and take the time to talk with God, the stronger our relationship with Him will be! Like with any relationship it takes time and effort! God is always there, it's up to us to choose to see Him.
I've just been so filled with gratitude this week - I'm so thankful for this opportunity to be a missionary and represent Jesus Christ here in Florida. Seeing His hand working in every single detail of my life is the greatest gift. I know that He knows each of us and loves us infinitely
Spiritual Thought :
Leviticus 26:12
" And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people."
This walk of life isn't meant to be easy. God has a perfect plan for each of us and part of that plan is that we will face challenges. However, it's what we choose to do with those trials that makes the difference. We can choose to suffer life's heartaches alone. Or we can choose to allow the Lord to walk with us, to carry us. I invite you each to pray to see His footsteps along your journey. I promise you that regardless of the pain, the Lord can and will relieve you of your burdens! He is always walking with you, regardless of where you are at. And stands ready to carry you with His loving arms.
I love you each!!
