Amazing bougainvillea 

 Hello  

Happy Christ-mas season! Although it is sometimes hard to be away from home during the holidays, it is also such a gift to get to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone during Christmas  

AMY Griggs is getting baptized on Saturday!!! We had a lesson with the Griggs family last week and the spirit and love of God filled the room and she decided she wants to be baptized! I am so thrilled for her and feel so strongly the love and excitement that God has for their family! Please pray for the Griggs family and especially Amy (the mom) for her baptism, and Lily (the daughter) on her journey as well 

We were going door to door knocking the other day and these three little kids answered the door in excitement! One of which was a curvy nine year old boy wearing nothing but his tighties - and he shouts " yay the neighbors came to visit!" and he barrels straight for me and gives me a HUGE hug  I was like "Ok, word, Kid! I like the stoke levels!" It was hilarious and I love how you really never know what to expect when someone answers! Best one yet I think

Spiritual Thought : 

3 Nephi 27:29 

" Therefore, ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened." 

Prayer is powerful and a wonderful gift that God has blessed us with! This verse directs us to understand that whatever our current battles we are facing the only way to overcome is to pray and ASK God. And then we must ACT! It is not enough just to ask, we must also follow with righteous and faithful action! I know that our loving Heavenly Father hears our prayers and is standing ready to help us through our life's challenges. I invite you to call out to Him and I promise you that He will wrap you in the arms of His love and help you push forward with strength
